This beginner-level course is designed to teach the fundamentals of officiating and equip you with the knowledge and confidence to step onto the court for the first time. You will learn the essential rules, positioning, and communication skills required to start your journey as a referee. Completion of this course is a mandatory requirement before beginning your practical, on-court training.

Association Community Course – Booking Policy 1. Invitation Only This course is by invitation only. Only individuals who have received a formal invitation from the Association are eligible to attend. 2. Unauthorised Bookings Any person who books and attends without a formal invitation will not receive a refund. They will be required to rebook and pay the full course fee again before being eligible to start the course. 3. Booking Deadline Bookings will remain open until 1 hour prior to the scheduled course start time. Late bookings will not be accepted. 4. Accreditation Requirements As part of the accreditation process, all attendees must complete a short quiz during the course. Successful completion of this quiz is required to receive accreditation. 5. Attendance Expectations Participants are expected to attend the entire duration of the course. Anyone who leaves before the session concludes may be required to resit the course in full before accreditation can be granted. 6. Delivery Method This course will be delivered online via Zoom. Attendees are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and appropriate device access for the full duration of the course.
